Attorney Scott C. DuPont is a seventh generation native of Florida who was born and raised right here in our area. As a result, he understands the legal issues we face.

After his father passed away, Attorney DuPont went to Bible College at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX where he met his wife of 28 years, Jackie.

Upon graduating, he transferred to Dallas Baptist University where he obtained a bachelor's in Political Science and Biblical Studies and graduated with honors. During this time, Attorney DuPont and his wife each worked two and three jobs at a time to pay his way through college.

After graduation, he transferred to Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA where he obtained a law degree and master's in Public Policy.

While obtaining his graduate degrees, Attorney DuPont worked full time for the University doing maintenance, painting, and lawn care. His wife also worked full time and without her support, help, and encouragement, he would not be where he is today. As a result of their hard work, they were able to pay their way through graduate school, and graduate practically debt free.

Attorney DuPont got his first legal job working for the State Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. He started off in the Misdemeanor Division, moved up the ranks quickly as a Docket Supervisor, and was then promoted to the Felony Division.

After two years of serving as a prosecutor, Attorney DuPont opened up his own law practice with the assistance of his wife. His practice at that time was a general practice where he served his clients in a variety of areas of law.

After being in private practice for four years, Attorney DuPont ran two successful campaigns for Circuit Judge, and served the public and the bench passionately and faithfully for seven years.

As a Former Circuit Court Judge in our district who has presided over more than 48,000 cases, including thousands of trials and tens of thousands of hearings, Attorney DuPont has a knowledge, understanding, and perspective of our legal system that few attorneys have.

Attorney DuPont currently runs his law practice out of St. Augustine, FL where he serves clients all over the State.

Garrett Lee is a proud native of Palatka, Florida, where he was part of the inaugural graduating class of the prestigious Cambridge Program at QI Roberts Jr-Sr High School. He began his academic journey at St. Johns River State College before transferring to the University of Florida. Garrett graduated summa cum laude with a degree in History, setting the stage for his future legal career.

Garrett then pursued his legal studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he distinguished himself as the Executive Research Editor of the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review. Additionally, he gained hands-on experience in the Immigration Clinic, assisting low-income clients with various immigration matters. Throughout his law school summers and winter breaks, Garrett interned at the Douglas Law Firm, contributing to the Personal Injury team.

Now back in his hometown, Garrett is dedicated to serving the Palatka community that helped shape him. Practicing law here allows him to give back in meaningful ways, and he’s grateful for the opportunity to assist his neighbors with their legal needs.

Outside of the office, Garrett is passionate about the outdoors and can often be found exploring local nature parks. He’s an avid reader of classic literature, is currently learning Spanish, and enjoys watching sports, especially when it involves cheering on the Florida Gators.
